Corrugated Metals, Inc. Relocates to Belvidere

BELVIDERE, IL December 12, 2005 - Corrugated Metals, Inc. (of Chicago) has recently moved their manufacturing operations to a new location at 3575 Morriem Drive in Belvidere. The $5 million relocation project is currently creating one dozen jobs in Boone County, and 100 additional manufacturing and administrative positions are expected within the next 18 months. In the same time frame, Growth Dimensions is assisting Corrugated Metals in looking for further space to expand in Belvidere.

Corrugated Metals is a manufacturer of custom roll formed metal products and prefabricated steel wall structure, which offers superior blast mitigation and force protection. Such products are directly provided to the nation's Homeland Security efforts.

The metal company was previously located in Chicago but needed to expand into a facility to accommodate the heavy industrial operations of the company. Ken Carlton, Vice-President of Finance, located information about the Belvidere building online and automatically knew that it would be a perfect location for their new facility. "The building fit our specific needs, and we knew immediately it was the one when we walked in. We required space that would accommodate heavy manufacturing and a long manufacturing base, said Carlton. "The space was ideal, especially with the close proximity to major expressways and Chicago."

Corrugated Metals will open their doors on December 19th and become fully operational on December 26th.
